The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA) is a medical organization that represents over 80% of medical residents studying emergency medicine in the United States. EMRA is both the largest and the oldest independent medical resident group in the world.[cite web |url=http://emra.org/emra_about.aspx |title=About EMRA |accessdate=2008-03-31 |format= |work=] Its members include medical students, interns, residents, fellows, and alumni who are being educated in emergency medicine in medical schools in the United States and abroad.
