Arthur Feuerstein

Arthur William Feuerstein (born December 20, 1935) is a highly recognized American chess player and winner of the first U.S. Armed Forces Chess Championship. According to the U.S. Chess Federation, Feuerstein is the 8th highest ranked chess player over 65, regardless of country, residence or federation. 1956 U.S. Speed Chess Championships

World Student Chess Olympics

Reykjavik 1957

In 1957, Feuerstein was selected alongside other American chess greats (such as Anthony Saidy and William Lombardy) to play in the 4th World Student Team Chess Championship,where the United States team took 5th place. Varna 1958
