Naveen Waqar

Naveen Haider Waqar A.k.a. V.J. Fuse (born January 9th, 1985) is a Pakistani VJ and model. She is known for her fun, outgoing and lively nature.

Biography

Early life

Naveen Waqar was host of the live music request show "Pick and Choose with Fuse" under the alias Fuse on the Pakistani music channel AAG TV. The program was noted for dealing with topics on day-to-day matters where people calling on the show offer their opinions, apart from placing requests to Fuse to play Pakistani songs. The program was being aired on AAG TV on Mondays and Tuesdays at 19:30 PST.

She was also the host of a Radio One FM91 music show "Morning Chuskah". She has also played a role in the telefilm "Ab Set Hai". Currently she hosts "Drive On" on Radio One FM91, Monday to Thursday 17:00 to 20:00 PST. She can also be seen in a Hum TV drama serial "Humsafar" which started from 24th September 2011 on Hum TV and gets aired on Saturdays at 20:00 PST. In the drama, she is playing a negative role of "Sara" who loves her cousin/best friend Ashar. Ashar, who only thinks of Sara as his best friend, ends up marrying another cousin, Khirad, a small town middle-class girl. Sara cannot stand the fact that such a girl can take the love of her life away from her and so she keeps trying to create problems between Ashar and Khirad so that she can win Ashar back for herself. Her looks are great in drama and her fans are loving her in this character.

Personal life

Naveen Waqar is an accomplished VJ, singer and writer. She enjoys going to movies, painting and travelling. Naveen Waqar has a brother, Faraz Waqar Haider, who is also an accomplished singer and recently released his debut album "Andher" on which the two siblings collaborated on a track, "Intizaar". Naveen studied from The City School.
