The American Commerce Center is a supertall skyscraper proposed for construction in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At Convert|1500|ft|m|0 tall with 62 floors, the building would dominate the Philadelphia skyline, standing over Convert|500|ft|m|abbr=on taller than the recently completed Comcast Center.Cite web|title=American Commerce Center|url=http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=147514|publisher=SkyscraperPage.com|accessdate=2008-03-14] The Convert|1500|ft|m|abbr=on|0 office tower, which would rise on the 19th Street side of Arch Street, and be connected to a Convert|473|ft|m|0|abbr=on, 26 story hotel tower and public plaza along the 18th Street side of the block. The connection consists of a multi-story skybridge with a garden on top.

Of several supertall skyscrapers proposed for Philadelphia (including the Center City Tower and an early version of Comcast Center), this would be the first to be constructed. On June 19, 2008, Philadelphia City Councilman Darrell Clarke introduced changes for the zoning legislation around 18th and Arch Streets which would be the first step towards building the tower. The bill was introduced on the last day of the city council's session so no action will be able to take place until mid-September.Cite web|title=Zoning bill marks 1st step toward 1,500-foot skyscraper here|date=2008-06-20|accessdate=2008-06-20|publisher=Philly.com|url=http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/20080620_Zoning_bill_marks_1st_step_toward_1_500-foot_skyscraper_here.html]
