Anoushey Ashraf

Anoushey Ashraf (born in Karachi on 14 April 1983) is a Pakistani VJ and actress. As a VJ, she appeared on the music channel MTV Pakistan. She has also acted in a play for PTV directed by Saira Kazmi in a 13-episode serial – in which her role was that of a best friend of the lead, played by Marina Khan. She is now the face of brands such as Ponds, Warid Telecom and MTV.

Biography

Early life

Anoushey Ashraf was born in Karachi, Pakistan to Pakistani parents. After completing her A Levels privately, she did her B.A., majoring in English Literature. She is Pakistan's first female Video Jockey and started her career in early 2002. She quickly climbed the ladder of success and is one of the most sought after faces for the younger generation of Pakistan today.

Personal life

Anoushey Ashraf is currently working at the administration at Indus TV Network. She enjoys reading, swimming, travelling and is very fond of animals.
