Nathan Fellingham (born 10 July 1977), is a Christian musician and
songwriter fromBrighton , in theUK . He is one of the founding members of popular British bandPhatfish , and is married to the lead singer Lou. Together they have two children, Jesse and Ella.Nathan is also an occasional worship leader and producer, responsible for the production of many of the
Phatfish albums. He has worked alongside renowned producers such asAlan Shacklock ,Kevan Frost andJulian Kindred . Nathan sometimes leads worship at his local church CCK.Nathan was trained as a classical musician, therefore can play many instruments including the keyboards and drums. As a drummer Nathan has played with Phatfish all over the world at conferences such as Worship Together, Soul Survivor and The Stoneleigh Bible Week."Nathan is also a skilled songwriter of Christian hymns and songs. He is perhaps most famous for songs which have been described by many globally as modern worship classics; "Holy, Holy" and "There Is A Day". These two songs are sung globally and have featured on numerous compilation and live Christian worship albums. His other popular congregational songs include "O God Of Love", "Jesus Christ Holy One", "Amazing God" and the prophetic "Awake Awake O Zion". He has collaborated with many of these artists and his songs have featured on albums worldwide.
As a musician, Nathan often travels the UK, sometimes with the band Phatfish, giving teaching and practical advice to fellow Christian musicians and worship leaders, talking about actual playing of the songs as well as production of meetings and sound engineering.
He set up the company Luna Sound with his brother Luke Fellingham, also a fellow musician in the band Phatfish. The name of the company is derived from the brothers first names, Luke and Nathan. Through Luna Sound Nathan has produced albums such as
Soul Sista , released by Soul Survivor and worked with artists such as Vicky Beeching and Tim Hughes.He and his wife
Lou Fellingham recently travelled toLos Angeles to record Lou's sophomore solo album "Promised Land", which was released in 2008. He also appeared, with Phatfish, at events and festivals over the Summer and is currently co-ordinating Fishtank Creatives, a new venture by Phatfish & Lou Fellingham, along with the new Phatfish album "15", due for release in 2009.As a drummer Nathan is in high demand and has played for Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds, Martyn Layzell, Simon Brading, Matt Redman and other Christian artists, sometimes with Phatfish. At events such as New Wine and Soul Survivor he has played solely for Matt Redman & Martyn Layzell with other musicians, and not Phatfish.
