Zhang Yuan (artist)

Zhang Yuan (born 1966) is an artist based in Beijing.

Zhang was born in Wuhan. For his solo exhibition at Platform China, Zhang created multiple paintings. Presented en masse and taken from a variety of sources, Zhang’s work creates the opportunity for the viewer to construct their own narratives from the source materials.
