Kontera Technologies, Inc. is a provider of in-text advertising and information services.

Kontera's technology is based on several proprietary semantic, statistical, linguistic, and yield-maximization algorithms that analyze online content, extract and rank topics and keywords, and then match them to relevant advertisements, content, and information. The company's flagship product is called ContentLink.

Kontera was founded in 2003 by co-founders Yoav Shaham, Assaf Henkin, and Henit Vitos. The company is privately held and backed by Sequoia Capital, Lehman Brothers. and Carmel Ventures. Kontera is based in San Francisco, with offices in New York City and Herzliya, Israel.
