Garswood United F.C.

Garswood United F.C. are a football club from Garswood, near St Helens, Merseyside. They are currently in the Cheshire Association Football League Division 1,, and play their home matches at Simms Lane End, Simms Lane. The club's colours are Royal Blue and White Striped Shirts, Royal Blue Shorts and Socks. The change strip is Orange and Grey Shirts, Grey Shorts and Orange Sockswhite shirts, black shorts and red socks.

History

Garswood United F.C. were formed in 1967 and are members of the Liverpool County Football Association. They joined the Mid-Cheshire League in 1988. They won Division Two in 1990 and Division One in 1996. They spent two years in the North West Counties League before returning to the Mid Cheshire League (renamed the Cheshire A.F.L. in 2007).
