"Emanuelle around the world" is a 1977 sexploitation film by Italian Director Joe D'Amato, starring Laura Gemser and George Eastman. The film was one of the most expenisve films ever made in Italy at that time, not just in cast but in locations. The film was filmed all over the world, in Hong Kong, Iran, India, America and in a studio in italy, it boasts one of the finest European casts ever assembled Laura Gemser, Karin Schubert, Ivan Rassimov and George Eastman and Briggite Petronio.
Plot
Emanuelle is invited to India to write a report on Guru Shanti, a man who claims to have achieved the ultimate orgasm. Once there she engages in a variety of sex acts, including one with the Guru; she disproves his theory. She then heads to Hong Kong to investiate trafficed women. Once she then arrives back in America, she teams up with fellow reporter Cora Norman and both of them snoop out a trail of men smuggling women to the Middle East.
Controversy
The film is notable for its hardcore insert, which features vaginal, anal and oral sex. It also contains a scene where a man inserts a banana into a woman's vagina and a scene where homeless men rape a Senator's wife, as well as scenes of Bestiality with a dog and a snake. It also deals with social issues in 1970s America. The film is now avaible on DVD from severin films.
