Tefral the Surveyor is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.

Publication history

Tefral first appeared in "Eternals" #7 (January 1977), and was created by Jack Kirby.

The character subsequently appears in "Thor" #300 (October 1980), "Eternals" #12 (September 1986), "Fantastic Four Annual" #23 (1990), "The Avengers" #339 (October 1991), and "Heroes Reborn: The Return" #4 (December 1997).

Tefral appeared as part of the "Celestials" entry in the "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition" #2.

Fictional character biography

Tefral is a Celestial that specializes in surveying the landscape. He is one of the few Celestials that actually explore the planet during the First Hosts.

Tefral created the capacity for mutation in pre-human anthropoids. Tefral was also involved in the creation of the Brethren.
