YouCastr is a sports broadcasting website operated by YouCastr, Inc. Youcastr.com allows its users to broadcast sporting events live, broadcast their own sports talk shows, and to add their live audio commentary on any sports related topic. Broadcasters also can let other users interact with live chat and participation in polls. Users can broadcast live and also access recorded broadcast at any time directly on the original broadcaster's page. YouCastr content can also by downloaded in MP3 format as a podcast and be shared with others through iTunes and other podcast supported applications.

Youcastr Pro

YouCastr Pro is a professional online radio streaming service for sports radio stations. In addition to the traditional streaming capabilities, YouCastr Pro enables fans to interact with each other and with their favorite sports broadcasters with unique interactive tools like live chat and polling.

Partners

YouCastr partnered with the CSB School of Broadcasting (formerly the Connecticut School of Broadcasting to provide an online outlet for students of the CSB School of Broadcasting. The partnership is working to bring together online and offline education models.

Youcastr has also partnered with WAMG 890 ESPN Boston, WKTR ESPN 840 Charlottesville, WKEX ESPN 1430 Blacksburg, WAMN ESPN 1050 Bluefield, and ESPN 1160 Martinsville, bringing streaming, professional sports content to the YouCastr community.

Notable Broadcasters

YouCastr has hosted several notable broadcasters, like Jimmy Young and Jimmy Meyers of ESPN fame. On Thursday, September 18th, Paul Shirley and his brother Matt began their weekly show about sports, love, and life.

History
