*Socialist Republic of Macedonia 1946-1991 [http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Macedonia.htm]
*Socialist Republic of Montenegro 1946-1992 [http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Montenegro.html]
*Socialist Republic of Serbia 1946-1990 [http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Yugoslavia.html]
**(including the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo until 1990 and the Socialist Autonomous Province of Vojvodina until 1990)
*Socialist Republic of Slovenia 1946-1990 [http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Slovenia.html]

After 1990, the republics one-by-one abandoned communist infrastructure and with the exception of Serbia and Montenegro, became independent. Montenegro was the longest lasting Socialist Republic which was the only remaining one at the time of the SFRY's dissolution in 1992.
