Lady Dorothy

Lady Dorothy is a fictional character in the TV series Monarch of the Glen. Dorothy is played by actress Richenda Carey.

Lady Dorothy Trumpington-Bonnet arrives in Kilwillie Castle after a messy relationship, and starts to annoy brother Lord Kilwillie. But when Lord Kilwillie leaves to travel the world, he leaves Kilwillie castle to Dorothy and her eccentric plans. Her plans include a tai chi retreat, an ec-dome, evicting people from the estate and shutting the post office. None of her plans work, and she becomes a failure. Her assistant is her daughter Hermione, who persuades her to employ her boyfriend Duncan McKay.

Dorothy only ever appeared in series five.
