White Crane/James White Poetry Prize

The White Crane/James White Poetry Prize was established by White Crane Institute in February 2008 to honor excellence in gay men's poetry. [http://www.jameswhitepoetryprize.org]

The biennial prize consists of a monetary award and the publication of the winning manuscript by White Crane Books. It is named for the poet James L. White. The judge for the inaugural year is the poet Mark Doty.
