Street Light (Photographic Collection)

:"For the devices used to illuminate streets, see Street light."

Street Light (Photographic Collection) is a massive photographic documentation of Sydney, Australia after dark. The project was started in 1986 by Australian photographer Robert James Wallace. The series has presented an intriguing view of a city in slumber. Shot exclusively on black and white film and with Olympus OM cameras, the series attracted much editorial interest in Australian and international publications, including the Singapore Airlines inflight magazine and the Olympus inhouse publication, "Pursuit".

As of 2008, Wallace was still involved in capturing nocturnal Street Light views of Sydney, for commercial and artistic purposes.
