Matt Frey is a musician from Huntington Beach, CA. He was born in Anaheim, CA. He is currently the touring keyboardist for the band 30 Seconds to Mars. He was a member in the short-lived LA quartet, Polus. He is now keyboardist/co-songwriter for Parade of Lights. He has performed with 30 Seconds to Mars in various European cities and at the My Coke Fest in South Africa.

Other projects

Polus was a band consisting of Ryan Daly (vocals, guitar), Matt Frey (keyboards, guitar), Randy Schulte (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Anthony Improgo (drums, backing vocals), who now plays drums in Metro Station (Band). The group disbanded in March 2007. Frey and Daly have collaborated on multiple projects since 2002 and are now writing and recording as Parade of Lights. Between their touring schedules in other bands, the two plan to complete a debut E.P. this spring with Schulte's assistance. Anthony Improgo has also rejoined the group.
