The Worcestershire Way is a waymarked
long-distance footpath in thecounty ofWorcestershire ,England .Distance
Today the Worcestershire Way runs for 49.5 kilometres / (31 mi). (When originally launched back in 1989 it was 77 kilometres / (48 mi) in length).
The Route
The route today is wholly within the county of
Worcestershire . (Originally the route used to run partly intoHerefordshire ). The route and its length were modified in 2004.Today the route runs broadly north - south through the county from
Bewdley , alongside theRiver Severn then across country toAbberley , south to theSuckley Hills where it follows theRiver Teme down to theMalvern Hills and terminates inGreat Malvern . It can of course be walked in either direction.It links with the
Cotswold Way and theNorth Worcestershire Path .External links
