Bobby Solo

Bobby Solo, whose real name is Roberto Satti, is an Italian singer and musician born March 18, 1945 in Rome (Italy).

In 1964, Bobby participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Una lacrima sul viso", but he was disqualified for singing with playback which was contrary to the festival regulations. The song "Una lacrima sul viso" became a global hit. In the following year 1965 he won in the festival with the song "Se piangi se ridi". He participated with the same song in the Eurovision Song Contest and came out 5th. Again in 1969 Solo participted in the Sanremo Festival, with the hit "Zingara" together with Iva Zanicchi, and his last participation in the festival of Sanremo was in 2003 (together with Little Tony) singing "Non si cresce mai".
