Lebanese Liberation Movement
- Lebanese Liberation Movement
The Lebanese Liberation Movement (LLM) is a secret Lebanese political party, thought to have been established around 2000 as a resistance to the Syrian occupation of the country. From 2001 onwards it played a prominent role in the events that lead up to and including the Cedar Revolution in 2005. Although keeping silent since then, it is rumored that the LLM has been maintaining decent relationships with most Lebanese political parties and has been mediating talks between the different opposing blocs during the present political crisis.
