Jamal Deen

M. He is also the Director of the Micro- and Nano-Systems Laboratory [http://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/story.cfm?id=4689 McMaster Daily News ] ] . His research specialty are in the broad areas of electrical engineering and applied physics.

Education

After working for two years at the University of Guyana [www.uog.edu.gy] , he won the prestigious Fulbright scholarship [ [http://www.laspau.harvard.edu/programs/prog_fb_facultydev.htm LASPAU: Programs Administered by LASPAU ] ] [ [http://fulbright.state.gov/ The Fulbright Program - U.S. Department of State ] ] (under the Latin American program) to undertake graduate work at Case Western Reserve University. Later as a doctoral student, he won an American Vacuum Society [ [http://www.avs.org/ AVS - Science and Technology of Materials, Interfaces, and Processing ] ] Scholarship.
