Syed Mohammad Abul Faiz

Dr.Syed Mohammad Abul Faiz, or S M A Faiz as he is more widely known as, is the current Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka. He is the twenty-sixth Vice-Chancellor of the most prestigious university of Bangladesh. He has been in office since September 23,2002. [Official website of University of Dhaka]

Education

Dr.Faiz obtained Bachelors and Masters of Science from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka. He also has a Ph.D. from University of Aberdeen. [Official website of University of Dhaka]

Teaching career

Dr. Faiz is also a Professor of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka.
