arena inYakima, Washington . It was built in1990 on the Central Washington State Fairgrounds and often serves as an exhibit hall during the fair. It is the home of theYakama Sun Kings of theContinental Basketball Association .The SunDome also hosts the WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington 1B, 1A, and 2A High School Basketball State Tournaments annually.
Originally the SunDome was to be called the QueenDome to be more of a sister dome to the
Kingdome inSeattle, Washington .
