Roger Lafrancois

Roger Lafrancois

Roger Victor LaFrancois (born August 2, 1954 in Norwich, Connecticut) is a former backup catcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Red Sox during the 1982 season. Listed at 6' 2", 215 lb., he batted left, and threw right-handed.

In an eight-game carer, LaFrancois was a .400 hitter (4-for-10) with one RBI, one run, one double, and a .500 slugging percentage.

As of 2008, LaFrancios is a coach with the independent league Worcester Tornadoes.
