"Utricularia sandersonii" is a small perennial carnivorous plant that belongs to the genus "Utricularia". It is endemic to South Africa and is known to grow in northern KwaZulu-Natal to Transkei. "U. sandersonii" grows as a lithophyte on wet, often vertical rocky surfaces at altitudes from convert|210|m|ft|0|lk=on|abbr=on to convert|1200|m|ft|0|abbr=on. It was originally described and published by Daniel Oliver in 1865. It is a very distinct species that has entered cultivation and thrives in conditions that are easy to replicate.Taylor, Peter.
