At the end of
World War II only airlines from the victorious countries were allowed to fly in and out of Berlin, those countries wereGreat Britain ,France , theUSSR and theUnited States . In order to compete with the airlines of other western nations, France with the cooperation ofAir France andLufthansa started Euroberlin France, The airline began services with Boeing 737-300 aircraft linking Berlin withCologne ,Dusseldorf ,Frankfurt andStuttgart .The fall of the
Berlin Wall and the reunification ofGermany made Euroberlin redundant wince now Lufthansa could fly in and out of Berlin. Euroberlin dropped the 'France' from its name in 1990 and flew charters on behalf of Lufthansa until its disolution in October 1994.
