Aztec artifacts and both copies and originals ofAztec codices , held in 1824 in theEgyptian Hall inPiccadilly ,London . Objects exhibited included the "calendar stone" (described as "Montezuma's watch"), the statue of Coatlicue (called "Teoyamiqui"), and theStone of Tizoc ."Ancient Mexico" was exhibited simultaneously with a parallel exhibition, "
