Mr. Piano Man, Please!

Mr. Piano Man, Please!

"Mr. Piano Man, Please" is a ragtime style song written for former Disney Mouseketeer, Annette Funicello by songwriters, Bob and Dick Sherman for the Golden Horseshoe Revue. This song follows in a long line of popular songs written by the Sherman Brothers for Annette. Other "top ten" songs include "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess". As Annette went on to make films for other film companies besides Disney, the Sherman Brothers continued to work for the family friendly conglomerate eventually winning two Oscars for Mary Poppins in 1965.
