Australian-Greek relations are foreign relations between
Australia andGreece . Relations between the two states are close: both country were allies during bothWorld Wars , there are a large Greek community in Australia (dating back from the 1950s and 1960s). Both country has an embassy in the other capital. Greece also has Consulates General inSydney ,Melbourne andAdelaide , as well as a Consulate in Perth, Honorary Consulates General inBrisbane and Darwin, and Honorary Consulates in Newcastle andHobart .See also
