Li Ling (chin. 李零; born
12th June ,1948 ) is a Chinese sinologist.Biography
Li Ling was born in
Xingtai ,Hebei in 1948, whose original family home located in Wuxiang County,Shanxi , has grown up inBeijing . He worked inShanxi andNeimenggu for 7 years as one of the Rusticated Youth after graduation from high school.He came back to
Beijing in 1975, and was enrolled into Institute of Archeology,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences , working on the research of inscriptions on bronze. In 1979, he was enrolled into Department of Archeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, focusing on research of bronze under the supervision ofZhang Zhengliang . He graduated with a master degree of History in 1982.He joined Bangxi Branch of Archaeological Team, Institute of Archeology,
Chinese Academy of Social Sciences between 1982 and 1983. He worked on research of history of agricultural institution of Pre-Qin, in Research Center for Agricultural Economy,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences . Since 1985 he has been professor of Department of Chinese Language and Literature,Peking University .Works

Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts and the intellectual headstream,The Art of War ,Chinese Fangshu ,Zuo Zhuan , History of Ancient China Civilization, Aborad [Sinology] , art of war of ancient China.His major academic works include:
