The Center for historical research and documentation on war and contemporary society (CEGES-SOMA) is a Belgian federal research and documentation centre. The institute collects documentation and carries out research on the wars and conflicts of the twentieth century and their impact on Belgium. Rudi Van Doorslaer is the Director of the institute.
History
The Centre was founded in 1969, and since then it collects archives, books, periodicals, newspapers, photographs, interviews, posters and leaflets on wars and contemporary society.
