Campus

Walsh Middle School is the 9th middle school built for the Round Rock Independent School District. The school is located in Round Rock, TX and is built on the remnants of the Walsh ranch. Walsh is named after the James G. Walsh, former owner of the land and former school board member. History

Walsh Middle School was built to relive overcrowding at Hopewell and to prevent future overcrowding at Cedar Valley. The school was first in the failed 2005 Election Bond, but was also included in the 2006 Bond in which all propositions passed. The school is expected to open in time for the 2008-2009 school year.

Walsh Middle School will hopefully be distinguished with many awards like the district's other middle schools.
