2861 Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps (RCACC) is located in Windsor Ontario, and was founded in 1969. Currently commanded by Captain Rose Small, 2861 is a multiple recipient of the Lord Strathcona award for best small corps in Ontario. The most recent award was in 2004 under the command of Captain Sean Ewasyke.

=Competition=2861 is actively involved in various area competitions, and has frequently proven itself as a competing unit.

Area Cadet Challenge
2861 has proven it self in recent years as one of the top corps in the area at the army cadet challenge (ACC). ACC is a competition requiring army cadets to use all of this skill that they have learned as an army cadet from leadership takings to map and compass.

Drill With Arms
2861 is one of the only Army Cadet Corps still competing in the drill with arms competition, mostly dominated by Sea and Air Cadets. In their last appearance the corps finished 3rd place, and was only a couple of points from a win.

Drill Without Arms
2861 also competes in the drill without arms competition but with little success in the past couple of years.
