United States House of Representatives elections in Iowa, 2008

The Iowa United States House of Representatives election in 2008 will be held on November 4, 2008 and will determine who will hold Iowa's seat in the United States House of Representatives for the next two years.

Each of the five current office holders will be up for election in the general election.

= First District =

Democrat Bruce Braley, an attorney from Waterloo, is the current office-holder and serving his first term. His Republican challenger is David Hartsuch. CQ Politics forecasts the race as 'Safe Democrat'.
