James Dennison Sebring (March 22, 1882 in Liberty, Pennsylvania - December 22, 1909 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania), was a professional baseball player who played outfield from 1902-1909. He attended college at Bucknell University. He played in the 1903 World Series with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was the first player in World Series history to hit a home run. He died young of Brights Disease in 1909.
