Wargrave Boating Club

Wargrave Boating Club

Wargrave Boating Club (WBC) is an English water sports club. It is based on the River Thames in England, at Wargrave on the reach above Marsh Lock.

The club has a long history and supports four activities - Canoeing, Skiffing, Punting and Rowing. The club also takes part in Dongola racing. The club colours are maroon and white

The club is closely associated with the Wargrave and Shiplake Regatta at which all these activities are represented. The club also competes in skiffs at regattas run under the rules of the Skiff Racing Association, and in punts under the rules of the Thames Punting Club. Skiffs are traditional, stable wooden boats which are sculled with a pair of blades. Punts are 2ft and 1ft racing punts. The Rowing section is currently seeking affiliation with the Amateur Rowing Association.
