She represented her native country twice in the Olympics: she was seventh in the 1976 Montreal Olympic high jump, clearing 1.87m, [ [http://www.sporting-heroes.net/athletics-heroes/stats_athletics/olympics/1976_w.asp 1976 Olympic Games Womens Results] ] and finished 14th in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic heptathlon with 5908 points. Moving to the U.S. in 1978 on a scholarship, she became a massage therapist, fitness trainer and an author after her career, among others writing the book "Complete Idiots Guide To Fitness" with Claire Walter.
