Probability of occupation
- Probability of occupation
In condensed matter physics, the probability of occupation shows how likely it is for a given energy level to be occupied. Fermions such as electrons follow a Fermi-Dirac distribution and bosons such as phonons and photons follow a Bose-Einstein distribution.
