Richard Tucholka

Richard Tucholka (born February 9, 1954 [ [http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?op=showcreator&creatorid=5530 Creator ID] at pen-paper.net] ) is a writer, game designer and publisher, best known for his work in the creation of the role-playing game "".

Career

Tucholka has been a RPG Designer, comic book publisher, book reviewer, staff writer for "Stardate" and "Stardrive" magazines, and a science fiction fan. He has participated in science fiction conventions and gaming conventions since 1973 and is a member of Sci-Fi Fandom's elite security agency The Dorsai. He is also a Senior Computer Technician for a world wide parts supplier of the automotive industry.

As of 2008, Tucholka lives in Pontiac, Michigan, where he manages Tri Tac Games. His best known role-playing game, "", was voted Best Fantasy RPG of 1991 by the RPGA Network at Gen Con. Others works include "The Morrow Project" with Robert Sadler and Kevin Dockery, "Fringeworthy," "," and the upcoming "Hardwired Hinterland". Supplements and adventure scenarios he has worked on include "Invasion U.S.", "Rogue 417", "Hellsnight", "Haunts", "Starcharts", "Bureau 13: Lost Files 1 & 2", "COP 2448" and the "DM's Book Of Nasty Tricks & Misfit Magic".

The Tri Tac Micro Games that Tucholka has authored include "Monster Squash," "Geriatric Wars," "Pterroductyl," "The Viral Vegetable Wars," "Drive By," "War on High," "Escape From Westerville State," "Baby Boomer," "Duck Trooper," "Beach Bunny Bimbos with Blasters" and "HOLES", a science fiction miniatures combat game. He created the astronomical systems for the "Midnight at the Well of Souls" role-playing game by TAG Industries. Like Isaac Asimov, Tucholka became a "Macho Target" - essentially a non-player character - in the game "Macho Women with Guns". His "Uncle Richard's Trash Video Roundup" has packed rooms at many Midwestern science fiction conventions.
