Elton John with lyrics byBernie Taupin . It's the B-side of one of his greatest hits,Border Song , and was originally released in 1970. It was included on the reissue of his self-titled album in 1995. It was also included on his live album, "17-11-70 ".The song starts with nothing but a marching drum beat and Elton singing, but then goes into a somewhat funky verse and chorus with heavy orchestration, which lasts throughout the song. Some people may think it's related in some way to the well-known
Pink Floyd -album "The Dark Side of the Moon ", but there are no resemblance.Canadian rock band
April Wine covered it in 1971. It still gets frequent airplay on most rock radio stations.
