"Thinking Of You" is a single released by Sister Sledge in 1984 that became a hit single in the UK. It was originally recorded for their "We Are Family" album in 1979.
By this time, the group's chart fortunes in the US had almost completely died out, with this song missing both the Hot 100 and the R&B charts. It was a different story across the Atlantic, however, where this song peaked at #11 on the UK Singles Chart, continuing the group's success there which culminated in the #1 hit "Frankie". This song was re-mixed in 1993 after the success of the "We Are Family" remix, but only reached #17 in the UK.
Paul Weller covered in the song in 2004 on his cover album, Studio 150. This version made #18 in the UK.
