Alvesta Alternative

Alvesta Alternative (in Swedish: "Alvesta Alternativet") a local political party in Alvesta, Sweden. Founded in 1991 by 27 expelled member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party. AA has been present in the municipal council since 1991. Party president is Peter Johnsson.

AA opposed Swedish membership in the European Union.

AA publishes the internet newsletter "Alternativet".

In the 2002 municipal elections ViP got 1483 votes (13.1%), and six seats (up from seven in 1998).
