Ivo Lola Ribar, his younger son, was in charge of theLeague of Young Communists of Yugoslavia (SKOJ) during the war, and was proclaimed posthumously aPeople's Hero of Yugoslavia .Ivan Ribar died in
Zagreb at the age of 87.
