Berlin-Halensee railway station
- Berlin-Halensee railway station
Halensee is a station in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines rail text color|system=SBB|line=S41, rail text color|system=SBB|line=S42 and rail text color|system=SBB|line=S46 [ [http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/fahrplanundnetz/sbahnhof_anzeige.php?ID=69] Station information from the S-Bahn Berlin GmbH] .
It is located at the western end of the Kurfürstendamm, one of Berlin's most famous and important boulevards and nearby the lake Halensee, after which a small area of the city and the station take their names. The station is also served by four bus lines, two of which run continuously and one of which is an express service, as well as one line at night.
Just north of the station, there is a single-track curve connecting to the Stadtbahn at SBB stations|station=Charlottenburg, which is not officially part of any line. However, the curve sees a handful of passenger services per day and there is thus an infrequent service between the Ringbahn and the Stadtbahn [ [http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/fahrplanauskunft_routenplaner.htm?language=dn&modul=m1] Timetable information from the S-Bahn Berlin GmbH] .
