Fran Kranz (born July 13, 1983) is an American actor. He currently stars in the television comedy "Welcome to the Captain". Kranz is a graduate of Yale University, [ [http://www.cbs.com/primetime/the_captain/bio/fran_kranz/bio.php CBS bio] ] where in fall 2002 he enrolled in Shakespeare: Histories and Tragedies, taught by Professors Joseph Roach and Sandy Welch, and currently lives in Los Angeles.
