Martin Wattenberg (artist and programmer)

Martin Wattenberg (born 1970) is a software artist and engineer known for his interactive visualizations of complex datasets. He is known for such works as the "Map of the Market" applet featured on SmartMoney's website; the "Baby Name Voyager" applet for browsing trends in American baby names; and the IBM History Flow tool for visualizing changes to a document over time.
