Streetlight Manifesto band members and touring history

American ska band Streetlight Manifesto has gone through a series of major lineup changes since their inception. The only band member to play on every recording is frontman and songwriter Tomas Kalnoky. However, at the group's inception, there was no formal band to speak of, merely a group of musicians that Kalnoky knew who helped him record a four-track demo, including drummer Paul Lowndes and saxophone player Pete Sibilia, who were replaced by Stuart Karmatz and Jim Conti, respectively. Jamie Egan, who played trombone in Catch 22 with Kalnoky and bassist Josh Ansley, played both trombone and trumpet on Streetlight's self-titled demo and their first full-length, "Everything Goes Numb", and, unable to play both simultaneously for live shows, the group recruited trombonist Mike Soprano, a former member of post-Kalnoky Catch 22. Since Karmatz left the band immediately after the recording of "Everything Goes Numb", his replacement Chris Thatcher, along with Kalnoky, Conti, and Soprano were members of the original touring lineup of the band.
