Andrew Sant

Andrew Sant (born 1950) is an English born Australian poet. [cite web

In 1962 Sant moved from London with his family to Melbourne where he grew up. He has since lived in London, most recently between 2002-2005 and was Writing Fellow at the University of Leicester and again between 2007-2008 while at the University of Chichester. In 2001 he was resident at the University of Peking in Beijing, China. He co-founded the literary magazine, "Island", in Tasmania. His most recent poetry collections are "Tremors: New & Selected Poems" (2004) and "Speed & Other Liberties" (2008). His poems have appeared in "The Times Literary Supplement", "Poetry", "Poetry London", "The Australian" and "Antipodes" among other publications.
