The Wilton Scenic Railroad was a heritage railroad which operated seasonally in southern
New Hampshire from 2003 through 2005.The railroad ran mi to km|13 from
Wilton, New Hampshire , toGreenfield, New Hampshire , using a state-owned rail line that was once part ofBoston and Maine Railroad 's Hillsboro Branch. The line still has limited commercial use, but has not been used for regular passenger service since 1936.Service was provided by a pair of 800
horsepower (600 kW), diesel engineBudd Rail Diesel Car s, previously used by BC Rail inBritish Columbia ,Canada .The railroad's founder, Stuart Draper of Wilton, died of a heart attack on
