Chak Jhumra Tehsil inFaisalabad District in the Punjab province ofPakistan . The village is the administrative centre of Union Council 5 of Jhumra Tehsil, the village has a population of 3,257. The village was established when someChatha people came here on digging of Cannal Rakh Branch in1890 . These Chatha people came here fromGurdaspur however they are rooted back to Gujaranwala. The village has all the classical traditions of the British era and some elements of post partition of1947 . The English government established twograveyards , one for Christians and one for Muslims beside two areas ofshamshan Ghats one for Sikhs and one forHindu s. The village had once a minority population of Hindus but they all migrated to India in1947 .Infrastructure
Currently the village has a Government Primary School for boys and a High School for girls. The Dehi Markaz health facility, which has 10 beds, was established by the
